Sketched on location at a little flower shop/sidewalk cafe in the West Village. It was early morning and the streets were quiet – just a few early dog-walkers and joggers and coffee-seekers were out and about. I love Manhattan at this time of day and it was a delight to sit and take in the street as I drew. Ink and watercolor on archival 100% cotton paper.
